Chili Garlic Prawns



Dive into the fusion of Indian and Chinese flavors with this tantalizing dish! Succulent prawns are stir-fried to perfection with aromatic garlic, fiery chili peppers, and a blend of spices, creating a mouthwatering dish bursting with flavor. Perfect for seafood lovers craving a spicy kick!

Ingredients:

  • 500g prawns, peeled and deveined

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2-3 red chili peppers, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  2. Add minced garlic and sliced chili peppers to the pan, stirring constantly until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. Add the prawns to the skillet, spreading them out into a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to turn pink.

  4. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili flakes (if using), and sugar. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the prawns are cooked through and coated in the sauce, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if necessary.

  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot.
