Chicken wings glazed with peach and chili jam:

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken wings

  • 150 grams peach and chili jam

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the peach and chili jam, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are evenly coated.

  4. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil, making sure they are not overcrowded.

  5. Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown, turning them halfway through cooking.

  6. While the chicken wings are baking, heat the remaining marinade in a small saucepan over medium heat. Let it simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly, stirring occasionally.

  7. Once the chicken wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and brush them with the thickened marinade.

  8. Transfer the glazed chicken wings to a serving platter and garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley, if desired.

  9. Serve the chicken wings hot as a delicious appetizer or main dish, and enjoy the perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors!
