Chutney~Honey Chops over the Coal

*10 lamb or pork loin chops
For the sauce/marinade:
1 cup chutney
1 cup peach jam
1/2 cup honey
1 cup lukewarm water
3 tbsp cooking oil
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp mild curry powder
salt pepper to taste
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce very well together.
Pour over chops and marinate for 8 hours or overnight
better.
Fry chops over moderate coals until golden brown, basting
in between with sauce.
